Are you the organized type? Do you use a daily planner or some sort of to-do list app? Do you keep track of important events with a calendar? Do you do all or some of these things, but still feel like you can’t get a good handle on your responsibilities and projects? You should consider mind mapping.
Mind mapping helps you drill down and visualize any project, goal, or problem. At times, you’ve got so much in your head that your thoughts feel like a mound of slippery spaghetti. A mind map helps you nail down a central theme or idea and then wrangle all those strands of spaghetti into a beautifully interwoven map of connected concepts.
Mind maps allow you to shuffle topics around, show how they interrelate, and group concepts together through natural associations. This, in turn, helps you brainstorm even more connected ideas—more than a simple list might generate.
There’s no limit to what you can mind map. Don’t stop with single words or short phrases, but also web links, images, doodles, icons—anything that represents your thoughts or sparks your creativity.
Don’t wait. Start brainstorming and mind mapping now by downloading your free copy of my Mindmapping Worksheet. It’s designed to give your brain a dedicated space to work.
